In short

'Payment secured' means the fee sits as a visible escrow hold (status FUNDED) before production. It is not a creator-controlled trust account: the hold is bound to EUR and Stripe Connect, payout requires KYC and DAC7, and a protective hold of about 56 days can apply before the final payment.

What does 'Payment secured' actually mean?

Before you produce, the brand deposits the fee. You see a lock with the status that the money is ready. That removes the biggest uncertainty of any deal — 'will I get anything at all?' is answered before you invest time.

  • The hold exists before production, not after delivery.
  • The status (FUNDED) is visible to both sides.
  • Release only happens once content is approved in review.
  • On cancellation, defined rules apply instead of a DM dispute.

Is this a real trust account?

Important clarification

No. 'Payment secured' is a visible EscrowHold status, not a separate creator-controlled trust account. You don't manage the money yourself in this phase — it is bound to EUR and Stripe Connect and released via platform mechanics.

What are the conditions for payout from escrow?

Does escrow guarantee a payout date?

No. Once approved, the system computes an estimated arrival (ETA) from approval, protective hold and bank transit — an expectation, not a guaranteed date. That is why the product always says 'expected'.
