Data deletion

When you connect an Instagram/Meta professional account to Collavo, we store the following for that account in particular:

• Profile details (username, account ID, account type, follower count)
• Metadata about published content (posts, reels, stories)
• Statistics/insights for that content (e.g. reach, interactions)
• The access token that maintains the connection to the Meta API

To remove this connection and the associated data:

1. Sign in and open Settings → Integrations, then disconnect Instagram. This deletes the stored access token, the profile details and the cached insights for that connection.
2. Additionally revoke Collavo’s access directly at Meta: in Instagram under Settings → Apps and websites, or in Facebook under Settings → Business integrations — and remove “Collavo” there.

To delete your full Collavo account and all associated personal data, sign in and open Settings → Privacy → Delete account.

We send you a confirmation email. After confirmation a 14-day grace period begins, during which you can cancel the deletion at any time. After that, your personal data is permanently and irreversibly deleted (Art. 17 GDPR).

If you can no longer sign in or no longer have an account, email us at kontakt@collavo.ai. We will verify your identity and process your deletion request.

When your account is deleted, the following are removed or anonymised in particular:

• Profile and account data
• Connected social media accounts and their access tokens
• Stored insights and content metadata
• Your authorship of uploaded content (anonymised)

Records subject to statutory retention (e.g. invoices) are kept for the duration of the legal retention periods and then deleted. For details on retention periods and legal bases, see our Privacy Policy.
